الليلة ح نتكلم عن Hyperglycemia وكلامنا م كتير الليلة 😉
🌸 Hyperglycemia:
🍁 Definition:
It is rise of blood glucose above normal average level.
اي زيادة عن ال normal بنسميها hyperglycemia
🍁 Causes:
ح نشوف الحاجات اللي ممكن تتسبب لي في زيادة ال blood glucose
1. Diabetes mellitus
ودا ال most common cause
Which the highest values for fasting blood glucose is obtained,
وبكون من 500mg ولفوق اعتماداً علي ال severity بتاعت ال disease.
2. In patients receiving IV fluid containing glucose.
3. Sever stress (emotional stress) can increase the blood glucose level.
4. Moderate hyperglycemia may found in some intracranial diseases such as: meningitis, encephalitis, intracranial tumors and haemorrhage.
5. Disturbance hyperglycaemic hormone.
6. Hyperactivity of the thyroids, pituitary, and adrenal glands.
7. In diffuse diseases of pancreas ,e.g. in pancreatitis and carcinoma of pancreas.
8. In sepsis and other infectious diseases.
9. Anaesthesia:
ودي بتزيد ال blood glucose علي حسب ال degree وال duration بتاعت ال anaesthesia.
